DVI only supports video while HDMI supports both audio and video. So, if you are running DVI from your PC to the HDMI port of your TV, you will not get sound. You will need to run separate audio cables from your PC to the audio in port of your TV. Personally, I run my audio over fiber to my receiver and I have the speakers on my TV turned off.

Great instructions. I followed all the way through and really happy with the quality of the picture. Only problem is that I cannot get sound. Any idea how to get the sound working. Looked on the web and seen all sorts of intructions, but none seem to work. Using DVI to HDMI cable, and have an ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 graphics card.
